Yeah, Yeah I know, sh.. happens.
When leaving last night’s free camp at Bottle Bend Forest Camp Area at Gol Gol just short of Mildura, we discovered that the tyre rack on the trailer on which all of the repaired and now emergency spare wheels are held, has broken the steel at the welds on the trailer. The rack is now being held onto the trailer with tie downs and the wheels are housed under the dining table.
Fortunately these things are happening early in the trip when we are still hopping from town to town so we are in a position to have the repairs made… (hang the expense). Glad we’re not out in the sticks.
We are going to be here in Broken Hill for a few days as we have the pleasure of the company of Michael Cottrell, (long term friend) who hails from Broken Hill, so the next few days will see some serious sightseeing on the agenda.
